A compact Thermal Imager for Urban or Rural surveillance

The all new Personal Surveillance Sight from ISS

Designed and manufactured in the UK by ISS, the Personal Surveillance Sight (PSS) gives military, police and border security professionals the ability to see in TOTAL darkness and through mist, tear-gas, snow, rain and smoke... a step beyond conventional image intensifier (GEN 2 or GEN 3) night vision technology.

The unit is exceptionally easy to operate... simply switch it on and you have an image of your surroundings in just 5 seconds... no adjustments or focussing required. With a 384x288 pixel detector, the PSS is available in two variants...

  • PSS, a 25Hz update rate imager for ultimate performance
  • PSS/E, a sub 9Hz frame rate variant that is export restriction free.
